Moonflower Farms & Technology Center — Attraction in Houston

We recently toured the facility and highly recommend this to anyone who is curious about our food sources, growing technology, NASA collaboration, entrepreneurship and honesty, lots of other topics. The CEO and others who helped with our group were so kind and patient with the kids. They were happy to answer every single question asked and presented the information in a captivating way while also ensuring the kids (and moms) learned along the way. I would love to offer up the suggestion that you get a group together of friends, family, scout troops, co-ops etc and schedule a tour. Got a sad looking bare basil plant through Too Good Too Go (tgtg) They advertise it’s priced at $18. I have seen basil plants in better condition on grocery store sidewalks drying in the hot sun clearance priced for $1. Definitely didn’t have same experience as people mentioned nor did the “live” plant look anything at all like what other people described and pictured in their tgtg reviews or what their website claims they offer. Went to just grab a bag from too good to go app. Got some of the most beautiful lettuce I have ever seen in my entire life. Hank helped us out and was kind enough to give us a quick educational tour of the place and about hydroponics. These guys are making hydroponics and urban gardening an exact science.
