Happy Donuts — Restaurant in Houston

I used to go here all the time with my Grandfather when I was little but I haven’t been back since, 14 years later I moved into the area and passed them by on the way home and thought why not? I ordered the donut holes, cinnamon roll and jalapeño, sausage and cheese kalache and loved every item ( the cinnamon roll is my favorite 🤭) . I came back today and ordered my cinnamon roll of course and tried the bacon, egg and cheese croissant sandwich and loved it!! They have a microwave on stand by incase you want to warm your items and provide drinks as well. Their customer service is incredible as well the lady is so sweet 💙. I highly recommend you try. This donut place is a hidden gem! There’s a variety of different donuts and kolaches fresh every day. And tbh, their kolaches are the best—soft and moist, and the taste is the best! I'm so glad we found this place; since we moved here, I've never visited another donut place. They also serve coffee. Gave this mom and pop a chance and it was a disappointment. Place was dirty, but I tried it anyway. Cinnamon roll had almost no cinammon. Apple fritter was soggy. The dough is nice and dense, which I like. Although he was very pleasant, the guy serving me forgot to ring up my coffee after I paid; I had to remind him. The white card reader was caked-on dirty.
