I went to the Black Market event on July 7th apparently they have every 2nd weekend of the month. It was wall to wall local vendors ready to talk about their business. I bought from EargasmJewlerypieces_ to a sports game. I brought the shirt she found earrings and wrap bracelet to go with it. Parking was an issue, but that can be fixed. It was great to see black owned establishments supporting each other and to see local Houstonians coming to purchase items from small businesses. It was amazing to see!

This was the second time I was able to visit there. This is a place to go-to to set up shop and and to help get you some more exposure to open your business. I Love the Black 🖤 Owned Businesses...💪🏾👍🏾✊🏾...!

I love this place and in my opinion this is where I would prefer to get my books. The Shrine hosts tons of events that uplift the black community and brings us together. I have seen awesome lectures, performances and had some great food here, all made by folks that look like me!

If you are a reader and are looking for something nontraditional but educational at the same time, I suggest you stop at the Shrine and have a look around.

I would give anything to be wealthy enough to invest in the Shrine. I would proud to be stamp on making the world better, one...

I've been to a few market days here and also to the Black Food Trucks event in the fall of 2019; everything has always been fabulous. I've always felt very welcomed and the events have been well-organized and with a wide range of vendors. I think the last time I went, I left with laundry detergent, cold brew hibiscus tea, some vegan carrot cake, and a pot of hand cream. Everything fabulous. So yeah, I'll go again, as often as...
