When is this park going to reopen? It's been closed a whole year now Edit: 5/12/25 the walking path gets flooded and slipper. It’s so hard to walk here early mornings without the path being a muddy hazard. Plus there’s always homeless people sleeping and loitering in the park

I like the makeover they did. They added the splash pad, and the kids are loving it. For small kids and others who don't want to go to a public pool, this is a good option.

Farmers market on Saturdays and Houston sauce Co is usually there too (vegan food truck) with amazing brunch. Everyone is super nice and good selection. Loved it

I went to a Community Park Party 🎉🥳. To my surprise everyone from the Committee Club was there! They had Basketball Moonwalk, food, fun, & games for ALL Diverties! They had a D.J. Remixing Music 🎵. They talked about the Community in General as to how Safe it was for pedestrians, friends, family members & neighbors! The Committee Club wanted to know about new/ old Developments. We talked about where Community Bikes could be setup. They talked about Crime prevention amongst other things! They had kiddos their as well. They talked about Vegetable gardening. They even had raffle drawings to win things! Everything went ✋ in hand per say! The weather & atmosphere was just right Ohh the Civic Club took pictures & developed them on the spot! I could not have asked for a better day to be involved in my...

I was here for the community center Garden! It was wonderful! On the second and fourth Saturday of every month, they have a farmers market that broadcasts and advertises for a number of small black businesses. I enjoyed being able to peruse the different shops available. They also have the lovely Garden, which is full of great vegetables and fruits for not only aesthetic pleasure, but during the correct time they pick the vegetables and fruit as well. I love that the Park at Palm Center offers these different varieties of activities for this neighborhood. You don't see it often, and it's a great opportunity to get to know your neighbors and support small black businesses! The area is nice, the park is Will groomed and up kept for children to play safely. The neighbors are nice and overall I was...

They closed the park for over a year and made absolutely ZERO improvements. Houston Parks and Recreation is straight garbage 🗑️.. this park is MOSQUITO 🦟 infested, the track is muddy and no rocks were added, same old trash playground for our children, No working water fountains, rotten BBQ grills, the entire park needs to STILL be redone. The grass is terrible.. needs more dirt to fix this swamp land.. 1 of the worse parks I have ever seen.. We were awaiting IMPROVEMENTS over a YEAR and received what .. total let down.. Not even wasting my time with photos.

Did I mention that there are NO RESTROOMS 🤦 Enter at...
