Problematic disruption of surrounding neighbors with late night celebrations that almost always includes A BOMBARDMENT OF LOUD, NOISY, DANGEROUS FIREWORKS EXPLOSIONS THAT GO ON FOR UPWARDS OF 20 MINUTES. The people at this temple have ABSOLUTELY NO REGARD FOR NEIGHBORS WHO HAVE LIVED IN THIS AREA FOR DECADES. IT WAS QUIET AROUND HERE, BUT NOW NOT SO MUCH. There is a Senior Living Center right next door and the frequent fireworks from this temple sounds like bombs going off scaring people and pets. Why do you wait until 9:45 p.m. to start all of this noise? Do you realize the negative impact you are having on an entire community of people with all of this LOUD NOISE THAT SOUNDS LIKE BOMBS EXPLODING? The real DANGER is that there is a CHEMICAL PLANT WITHIN 200 YARDS OF YOUR FIREWORKS EXTRAVAGANZA. WERE ANY PERMITS ACQUIRED? FIRE DEPARTMENT NOTIFIED? Do you have any plans to positively contribute to the neighborhood, like some of the other churches in your immediate area, or just detract from the neighborhood by continuing to explode fireworks and impose chaos whenever you...
Read moreI recently visited the Guruvayurappan Temple in Houston and I had some concerns about my experience. The beauty of a temple lies in its ability to provide a peaceful and welcoming environment for all devotees, regardless of their financial status. I believe that everyone should be treated with the same respect and kindness. I hope the temple authorities take this feedback into consideration and work towards creating a more inclusive environment for all visitors. Those so called "board members" are not remotely fit for the position they hold and are abusive of their powers that have been trusted to them. Just remember that we are here to pray to god and those gods...
Read moreI have been to many Hindu temples in North America from Canada to Texas. The so-called temple administrators behave like it is 18th century temple........... I don't even know who these people are....just come with n... attitude.Rude people show up from nowhere with rules and regulations as if they are living before the temple entry proclamation act . Everyone wants attention... apart from these people it is a nice place to be and spend time. Of course we bring our so called "age old customs" to harass others no matter where we live and what century it is . Adding two more points...Bringing casteism from India ... A number of temple administration members are disproportionately from certain caste ...and we need a law like what California...
