Wow first time I went was today July 8. The water was so clear and deep. We caught many bluegill, perch, a really huge blue cat, 5 crappie. I will be returning soon. Super beautiful lake. I think there is a 10 horse limit for boats.

Visit with the in-laws. Beautiful house overlooking the lake. Nice beaches, clean water and great fun with plenty of places to stay in the area.

I can't believe people are complaining about this being a private beach. It has been a private resort community forever. I grew up visiting here every summer; our friends had a summer home here so we were able to use the private amenities. The people who own homes here pay association fees for the privilege of private beaches, pools, etc. This keeps it from getting too crowded. The limited crowds is part of what made it great. don't go here lake is too small to do any thing on GO TO ALUM CREEK ABOUT 5 TIMES AS BIG and closer to Columbus. Also all private so yuck and now well maintained. FOR GOSH SAKE JUST DRIVE 4.3 MORE HOURS TO OUR BEAUTFUL 5...
