Read moreWe really wanted to like this place, but 2 weeks ago on June 8th we visited The Pub for the first time. My wife and I were seated on the patio, very nice. We ordered our drinks and the waitress served drinks in a timely manner. BUT that is where it ends...as my wife was sitting there enjoying the evening, all of a sudden her chair collapsed and on the deck she went. Keep in mind, she is NOT a big lady, approx 145-150 lbs. All of the staff was quite polite and concerned. They all done what they could and a VERY SPECIAL THANKS to the manager named Constance (Connie)..Connie was very nice and professional. She told us the owner was on vacation but she called him and told him what had happened and that he would call to check on my wife....well, it has been 2 weeks and not a word from the owner. Connie DID call the following day (9th) but apparently the owner of this establishment does not care about the patrons. To the owner, I would count my blessings, because if my wife would have had to go to the E.R., the outcome would have been much different even though she did end up with an approx. 6-8" round bruise on her left thigh. I would highly recommend anyone that plans to sit in the chairs on their patio to look at all of the welds, because this is what left go and yes, I do have pictures of broken, bent chair with broken weld that my wife was sitting in.
Be VERY CAREFUL of the Patio...

It was overcrowded, which was good for the charity and business, but uncomfortable fir me and my date . They have a large patio to escape the crowd. It was too cold to stay out too long. Some propane heaters would be a smart move. I ordered two drinks, and there was a bit of sticker shock. I reminded myself it was for a good cause. Back inside the band was playing. They started late and were too loud. They had an oversized PA system and huge amps for this small bar/restaurant. We moved to the side away from the stage and sat in the restaurant. I ordered fries, onion rings and a beer. The waiter was cool and funny. A few minutes later, the electric power blacked out. It appeared that the band burned out the breaker box with their excessive wattage. My date noted that there will probably be no food either without electricity for the fryers. But to our delight, the cook put our order in just in time. The oil was hot enough to fill our order. However, they could not process our bill or credit card payment. I paid cash and we left before they...
