Be careful of rocks and fish carcasses along the beach. Also, smoking and dogs are NOT allowed on the sand- but Bald Eagle State Park has plenty of trails and roads to walk your dog.
Sayers dam features a large lake swimming area, plenty of parking, a (somewhat maintained) bathroom, numerous nearby pavilions, a playground, lakeside benches, and volleyball courts.
The State Park as a whole has numerous boat launch areas, boat rentals, fishing, hiking, a hotel, a marina, and more (check out their DCMR website for info)
