Hudson Public Library - High Plains Library District — Attraction in Hudson

This library was a stellar find! We were looking for a library that was close; as we were visiting family for a few weeks. We tried some other libraries in the area but we were not as impressed with them as we were with the one in Hudson! This library was very clean, creatively decorated, big and spacious, and the staff was extremely friendly! We mostly loved that there was a big kids section - full of a variety of books, comfy chairs/tables and gathering areas to read. Plus having some Legos, trains, and a puppet show area for creative/imaginative play was a bonus! Fabulous library. They have lots of community events that are fun for the whole family. Lots of books and fun little play areas. The coolest crafting Center with 3-D printer, button maker, cricut, and so much more. Most of the staff is super friendly, although one can be a bit impatient. I was visiting with my kids and we were making a button. The lady kept asking us if we knew what we were doing we did. She was quite rude and came over and took over the project, telling us we were doing it wrong. The librarian did mine rudely and did it wrong. My daughter finished hers the way we were doing it and it came out perfectly. ...

This library is soo good! For children and adults. They have several programs for both. Also have a teen craft available. The new craft room has so many craft machines for the partons to use. They also have a family activity atleast once a month. There is different sections for little ones to play , kitchen area, computers , sensory table plus more. The ladies that work there make everyone feel welcome. I think this small town library is much better than most big library branches, such as Anythink libraries.
