Mid September hike, the bugs were crazy but maybe that’s because it rained yesterday. It a little over 2 miles with plenty of rock scrambling and a vista about 80% of the way up. At the top you have a 360 view from a cliff top and if rock climbing is your thing there are anchors in the rock to hook your gear. If you worry about dangerous drops you might not want to take the kids. That last few hundred yards are...

An average trail, nothing too scenic. The tree cover is nice, but there isn't much else. If you live in the area and fancy a nice walk on a mostly gravel trail through trees, this area isn't bad. But, I would not recommend driving any significant distance; it's not that unique. The overlook on the lake is nice enough, but there just isn't a whole lot...

Two different lookout spots at this trailhead that loop in a sort of figure eight. Easy, mostly flat trail with minimal inclines, barely a mile, took about an hour to both Wash Rock, Buzzard Rock, and back. Well kept gravel walkway, horses allowed up to just before the lookout points where tie offs...
