This used to be my playground…
Can I just say that out of everything our family has done, this one was a serious bucket list item for my husband and I. While on our anniversary road trip to Santa Claus, IN, we took a detour to Huntingburg and made our way to the stadium. We knew they were going to be closed and drove up to simply look through the fence. When we got there, they were mowing behind the stadium and the gate was open so we were able to walk around a little and dream our dream!
I was in seventh heaven when I saw the Rockford Peaches scoreboard and all of the vintage ads still posted. Though the field is used for the collegiate team, we are not from the area and would never be here for a game so to us, it is simply an amazing film location from one of our favorite movies!
The field, seats, the press box…it was an amazing experience! Tons of songs about crying. So funny!
The Rockford Peaches bus is just as you are coming into the park. You do not need to go into the stadium to see it. So amazing to see such a great movie prop right out in the open!
We walked around the outside of the fence and peeked in at the Walk of Fame. We could also see the doorway of the museum. We are so excited to come back and bring the family to do the tour!
What a fun day!!! Can’t wait to return!

There are several concession stands that offer food or alcoholic beverages. The drive there from Owensboro down 231 was peaceful and stress- free besides the construction work at a few places along the way. Great game! The Bombers won 4-3 vs. Cape Catfish! The gift shop closes early so, buy what you want before the end of the game because I went there to buy a few more souvenirs minutes after the game and it was closed. Overall great experience, I want to go back for a few more games before the...

The tickets are affordable and the entertainment is priceless. The game is fast paced with the events that they sprinkle throughout. The July 4th Fireworks are EPIC. The various themed nights are so creative.
New ownership has brought some exciting changes to the stadium for 2023 and I am here for it. Peach Slushies?! YES, PLEASE! For $20 each, kids can get a VIP experience that includes swag and VIP seating.
