Huntington Art Museum Trails Gate — Attraction in Huntington

20230904 This museum is huge, but I came here for the trails. I was the first to hike the trails this morning, and during my hike, I realized I was clearing the trails of cobweb. There was a huge spider web occupying it. Thank goodness I managed to go arounding. The trails are well marked, and some par5s are more narrow. The steps down mean going back up toward the end. We hiked 1.41 miles. Most of the trails are shadowed, which was nice. I parked at the museum, and started with the Sensory Trail and ended at the back...

The museum is amazing, with a very unique antique gun collection, art from all over world as well as west Virginian arts. The indoor garden has a variety of plants budding and producing exotic fruits along with some aquatic creatures. Also the trail is very easy with beautiful scenery dotted with face carvings in rock done by an artist in 2005. Definitely a must to escape every day life. Very relaxing and...
