I couldnāt have been more pleasantly surprised by this place. Admission was beyond reasonable, and the layout of the building makes it a breeze to walk through. There isnāt a shortage of art, and there is something for everyone. We stopped in the courtyard to play a game of yard-chess and then swung over to the conservatory. Josh is the head caretaker of the facility and he gave us our own little tour. The amount and variety of plants is staggering. We got to taste a kumquat straight from the tree and admire inconspicuous orchids. The saltwater aquarium is stunning and the axolotls are goofy to watch. The museum itself is very well maintained and clean, the displays ranged from folk art and near Eastern pieces to a history of firearms display and candid photographs of performers from the jazz age.
