Read moreIt is a beautiful garden with paths going in many directions. You could spend the entire day walking aimlessly, although that will happen naturally due to the lack of signs. That is my only complaint. They don't offer paper maps. You have to take a picture of a map located on the wall in the welcome center. Even with this map, we found it difficult to use the map to get around. They need more signs to help guide you, especially since the maps lists section by number. I wanted to see numbers on the signs.
All of the gardens are outside so be aware that the time of year you go depends on what flowers are in bloom. It is also true for the butterfly garden (which is gorgeous). It is enclosed but outside so it must be the right time of year to see butterflies.
Great place for kids! Everything is stroller friendly. Some of the trails are gravel but are smooth and easy to walk. There are places for kids to play throughout the garden. I can't wait to bring my young grandson. They have a nice gift shop but no full restaurant...just...
