Elite Hall — Attraction in Hyrum

It's an OLD building, so you have to add adjust your expectations. There's peeling paint everywhere, the floor is generally not the cleanest, and in the summer, the air conditioning cannot keep up with the heat.

That being said, it has its charm. When decorated right, you don't notice the rough spots. I love the bouncing floor. It's fun to think of all the dances that have been on it! It's a historic building, so it is a fun design with a walkway on a second floor that looks down to the dance floor.

I am hopeful the city will someday refurbish this awesome building to its former glory! I know they've been talking about it for years. So...

We were out exercising one frigid morning and saw the lights on in this beautiful old building. We stopped in and found out that we could walk or jog in there when the temperatures drop too low for us to be exercising outside. Found out later that there are all sorts of exercise classes that go on in the building as well. What a wonderful service to the community and those visiting. Thank you...

The dance floor here is genius. Built with spring under the wood it makes for a unique experience that will help your groove. There are monthly big band swing dances here that are occasionally accompanied by a live band. A great place for a genuine dance atmosphere which is my favorite reason to make it out to the Elite Hall. The building is...
