I love having a winery near our small town. It's great to have somewhere to come to that you can spend an afternoon on the weekend with friends. All the staff are very nice, and I love listening to the live music. The pizza on Sundays is really good. I haven't eaten anything else there as I come mostly to have a cocktail.
I really do not care for the wine. I like a dry white, like a sauvignon blanc or chardonnay and I have yet to had a good one there. Within 30 days, all we had to do was give them a call and they would refund the $500. It was a scam. We fell in love with another venue. When I contacted Big Horse, they didn't want to refund the money and gave me a dozen reasons why they wouldn't honor the refund, including that they made the promise of a refund on "good faith" that we wouldn't cancel, even though we told him we had a few other venue tours lined up. Don't give them your money even if they tell you...
