Lived on the lake for 5 years. Absolutely fantastic , fun , all sport lake. If fishing is your fun ..., This lake has it going on!!!! From gar to bowfin,,, to bluegill to crappie.. Great lake !! But for bass and walleye,,, it's a legend that holds most likely a walleye and largemouth bass state record for Illinois. 7 lb bass are not uncommon, and my wife caught a 30 inch , 10lb beast of a walleye in 2017....
