I visited during the work day, in the Spring, and it was very cold. It was a very nice area though low laying which led to lots of top water. I imagine after rain it would be pretty muddy. The pond does have fish in it and I saw some boys pull up a good size fish from the water though not sure what regulations there are... there was plenty of parking. I give it a 4 only because I wish the playground was bigger.

It’s a nice place to go walk or bike. There are shelters & benches to relax. I saw people going fishing as well so I guess it’s good for that too. Although I wonder if the playground had more swings & slides or may be need an upgrade. But overall great place to spend time in nature. I have never encountered parking problems here. It does have 2-3 parking spots.

It is a fee free place with plenty of parking. The water is pretty but not for human use. Several trails for horses, walking, running, and bikes. Not much foliage at the moment but for a couple to a few months out of the year, the green leaves make it look extra special. They also have covered benches, which are perfect for potlucks and picnics.

Wow,,so Beautiful, I love Nature,,,must go ,,,every time,, peaceful,,,, Real life in nature,,,much better then down town city's,,,,,,well maintained park that’s great for all sorts of trail recreation, from hiking to biking to cross country skiing. The trails are all very well marked,,,,,good for Alone ,,,children,,and family

I liked this place, it has everything to be perfect for a nice walk, it has benches and this a great thing for kids and elderly people. I saw 4 bathrooms. Many trails ( red, pink, yellow) and very easy to follow the arrows . Beautiful scenes and amazing nature. Closing by sunset , has a nice clean playground for the kids

This section of the Des Plaines River trail provides a very pleasant bike ride. Going north, the trail goes under a bridge. If the river is high, the trail may be closed. A short distance east is an entrance to the trail to continue riding. Crossing the road is harrowing because the cars are moving with speed.
