Camped 2 nights in the Tall Timber camp, site 10. I've also camped many nights at sites 2 and 5 and always had a wonderful time. The sites are dispersed around a 1.5 mile loop trail. It's a shady, pretty campground with space for for good sized tents in many, a few smaller more cozy sites as well. Be sure to PROPERLY secure your food, or it **WILL** be eaten by the raccoons. (They are there, and are a bit used to humans. They leave when you shoo them. It's a bit of fun to do so with my 8yr old daughter) The beach area was nice, $2 per person 3$ on weekends. It's nice area that stays fairly shallow for a good bit. Good times. I really wasn't joking about the raccoons. They will eat your food. And they feel no regret. They will waddle away, bloated on your food, and flip you the bird on the way out. They'll be back tomorrow. Or later if you didn't shoo them well.

The water on the water spigget is brown. Completely brown. I let the water run for 10 minutes and it just got worse I asked the guy at the campground about getting a refund and he said he can't do that. That he just works there. He said he uses it and its fine. He said leave the water run and it clears up. I don't even want to shower in this water let alone wash dishes or cook with it.

Pleasant weekend getaway. The camp grounds are quiet and offer water and power supply for camper at each campsite. Park activities include fishing, kayaking, trekking, grill, small group picnic tables, play area for kids. Has a small restaurant and decent restrooms. Also pet friendly.

From talking with the hosts, this State Park is a secret that is becoming known. We stayed six nights in August 2023. It was a back-in site and our 19' Airstream fit with plenty of room to spare. It was a pleasant walk from our site (P9), beneath very mature oak and hickory trees and a beautiful Bald Cypress, to the well cleaned bathhouse. The electric connection was good, the box gave no cause for concern. It was an easy walk to the kayak launch. The lake is a 10 hp max no wake lake. The nearby .5 mile nature trail offers a quick and easy opportunity for some solitude and silence. The park restaurant serves a Chicago Style Hot Dog - camping neighbors from Chicage gave it high praise. Moraine View provides a five star true...

We camped with our 2yo granddaughter. The campground was well maintained and the hosts were very friendly. Nearly every site is well shaded. Nice playground. Paved roads were great for biking and scooters, etc. There is a boat ramp and shower house. The swimming beach is about a mile down the road and was easily walkable from the campground. There are hiking trails, but with a 2yo we weren't able to try them. We had a very enjoyable weekend. Would...
