Did the hike to the falls this weekend...beautiful views, great nature, but trail was covered with patches of snow, so you can't know where the trail is...I got sidetracked few times, if not for phone and google map, I am not sure if I could do it....not marking of trail at all, at the end by fall few signs....so be careful, give yourself plenty of time and hike with someone...I was alone and met only 1 person after about 1hour from parking lot. Took me 4hrs round trip with stopping for photos and climbing on my 4 in snow few steep slopes...this was pretty exhausting hike, but I am sure if there is no snow and you can see nice trail it will be...

Loved every step of the way from trailhead to summit. Trail is very clear at your feet. The last mile to the summit has some incline that will test your desire and determination to finish. The waterfall is a wonderful spot to take a lil break. I saw chipmunks and marmots. The views from the top go for miles and miles. Lots of scenic views all along the trail as well. Saw lots of people between trailhead and waterfall. Saw hardly no one from waterfall to summit. Visited...

Mt. Rose Trail is one of the best hike I ever done. Last time I went was Oct 2018. It is about a 11 miles round trip up to the summit of Mt. Rose with about 2,400 ft. of elevation gain. Pack up your snacks and water! Grab some great company to enjoy the long hike! You will see beautiful waterfalls and great views. On the summit, the wind was so strong that I had to literally crawl on rocks so I wonโ€™t get blow away! Evidently 420 friendly to some of my...
