I didn't go inside, but they have an area just to the right side that houses Indiana birds of prey, such as owls, a vulture, a kestrel, and a red tailed hawk. There's no cost to view these birds, just an entry fee into this area of Salamonie during certain times of the year.

Very Friendly and Helpful staff. Great exhibits, neat stuffed animals, gift shop with some local hand crafted greeting cards, outdoor live bird display, flower garden, walk trails and Salamonie Reservoir River next to it.

Saw several deer and eagles. They have a large disc golf course throughout the park. We were told that every font spring hundreds of pelicans stopped there on their migration from Canada to Florida and vice versa.

I stopped by to get eclipse event info(they have 3 days of programs planned!!) and to check out their wild bird viewing window. It is always active and a good stop to practice some camera techniques. The DNR naturalist on duty was friendly and helpful. There are many local animals on display (taxidermy and live). The gift shop is a nice size for the facility and the free information is plentiful. Extremely nice clean restrooms and a good place to star...

Located in Salamonie State Park. It's a great little nature center. You can learn about animals in the area as well as seeing some up close. There were amphibians and reptiles behind glass, as well as an area to bird and chipmunk watch. As well as an outdoor area where some larger birds were kept....

Super lovely place! DNR explained everything to us & answered any questions, then allowed us to freely explore the area and see what was there to see. They didn’t try to push us to buy anything, but did give us the ability to do so. Loved the live exhibits and the nature exhibit in the back of...
