I stopped by to get eclipse event info(they have 3 days of programs planned!!) and to check out their wild bird viewing window. It is always active and a good stop to practice some camera techniques. The DNR naturalist on duty was friendly and helpful. There are many local animals on display (taxidermy and live). The gift shop is a nice size for the facility and the free information is plentiful.
