My in-laws paid the $75 fee to rent the shelter for my neice's and nephew bday party. We get there and two parties are taking up the entire shelter. They ask nicely for both parties to leave because my in-laws paid. The parties wouldn't leave. They asked the parties to at least split the cost to share the shelter. Nope. They were forced to call the Park Rangers. Who also called IMPD. 45 minutes later, and with the prompting of us moving on into the shelter (1.5 hours after the party was supposed to start), the two parties moved from UNDER the shelter, but continued to harass my family by pointing a loud speaker at our party, playing inappropriate music for a children's party, and cussing us all out.
I called (and my sister-in-law called) the parks department to report, and see if they could get a refund. My sister-in-law was told no, because it wasn't their fault that these two parties got into the unlocked case where the reservation signs are.

Just my...

With a wonderful splash pad next to a super cool playground with very unique and colorful play structures, it was fun for the 3 year old as well as the 9 year old. The park has a large field perfect for a pickup game of football, soccer, kickball, etc. The are 2 shelters with plenty of picnic tables. A beautiful basketball court and a walking path that circles the park. The is a building in the center of the parking lot that allows access to the bathrooms from the back of the building. The building also had a banquet hall available to rent. This is a...
