Great nature center with many exhibits of live animals and plants as well as interactive exhibits focused on simple (and fairly advanced) aspects of local environment. Friendly staff are always willing to help and teach at learner's level. Especially recommend the live bee hive and tadpole touch pond. Wheelchair and stroller users will appreciate then powered door; there is also an elevator and accessible bathrooms. The library is great for an indoor view for reading or writing. A large activity room hsots events throughout the year. No fees beyond park entry. Several trails take off from here and there is foot and small boat water access at this location as well.
