Tried to reload my debit card (Current) at the register. Something I do almost every other day. And this morning two new employees were there and ask me what I wanted and was very rude. She was asking relevant questions like what kind of card is it. I said I reload my card here all the time. She went in the back and got the store manager. I've never interacted with these two before. The girl had a very bad attitude with me and very poor customer service skills. I tried to show them my pass transactions that I've made loading my card they refused to look at it and said they don't trust my card. And told me that I had to purchase one of they cards and transfer it to my Current card. I never heard of anyone having to do that with my card. Current card is one of the merchants of Family Dollar. The cashier's was very rude and treated me like a criminal like I was trying to commit fraud. I faithful comes there to shop and load my prepaid card but today somebody had they head up their asses and refused me service. I will refuse to do anymore business with places that treat me in such a manner and I will insist that if you have bad experience with any place like this just send your money somewhere else you don't have to put up with places like this in your community. They need your business so stop spending money with them they will go out of business and make room for a establishment that will treat you better in your community. I will be taking action on...
Read moreI'm new to the area, and don't shop here too often unless I'm desperate enough for something Safeway didn't have across the street. I didn't know to only use cash at this location. I'm assuming it's notorious for having card fraud/skimming. Unfortunately, it took me a while to realize that other customers only paid in cash, and that I was gaining attention for paying with card. How this is legal, and why nothing is being done about it at this particular location, is beyond me. I guess the folks around here are just accustomed to settling for the bare minimum. It's really a shame. Luckily for me, my bank noticed the issue and fixed it right away. Anyways, I've noticed that there's no longer a "security guard/ bouncer", which is quite nice since his job was to no avail other than disgruntling other customers. I've never seen a dollar store try so hard to prevent theft for such cheap merchandise. However, the store is a hot mess, as it's been the other times I've visited. I know it's a dollar store in a rough side of town, but even those less fortunate deserve a better shopping experience than whatever's...
Read moreThis store absolutely sucks. As well as it's management. Kelly (store manager) is always rude and condescending not only to customers but her own staff as well. The way they speak like no one can hear them is down right disgusting. Not just her but all the managers are that way. You can hear them yelling and saying obscene things almost every day I go in there. Let alone I've come to realize the only nice staff they had they let go which I think is dumb. With how who's left speaks about everyone that walks in just makes me sad. The store is never stocked how it used to be and honestly over the past month or two this store has just gone downhill and it's sad. They either need to bring some old staff back or just replace the current ones. Once a nice store has just been completely ruined. And it overall is sad and has become a terrible experience for anyone who still shops here. P.s. you can see roaches on the floor all the time that's how dirty under all the asides are. The only redeeming quality this store has is the hot dog guy that's outside and that really says something about this...
