This place is absolutely awful and when you think about the price you paid to get into the awfulness it makes it even worse. Annoying lifeguards correcting everything everybody did. I believe in rules and following them but the corrections they are trying to make are excessive and not the ones that need to be made. The hooligans running wild and knocking your 4 year old off of her inner tube and getting away with that was ridiculous. Maybe be correcting the issues that are a problem and being pointed out to you? Not somebody helping their child do a water activity in water that is deeper than safe for the kids. I wasn't the only adult getting the whistle blown at for the same reason. No place in the kids area for them to play without constantly being sprayed in the face. I won't continue on but I will finish with the fact that my SUNBLOCK WAS STOLEN right out of my towel. I had it wrapped up in the towel and somebody went thru my things and took my sunblock. Who cared there? Nobody! I didn't want compensation but...

This park is pretty great for what it is. Freedom Springs water park has a lazy river that you can spend all day floating around in. It's on the expensive side and costs less for Greenwood residents. Lazy river floats can be hard to obtain. There is a massive hill in the middle of an otherwise flat park. Can be fun for kids to climb. There is a paved walking trail that has a decent amount of distance, no tree cover though so prepare accordingly. I am a member of the dog park, sign up at the Greenwood parks department off main street. The dog park has two sections, one side gets pretty swampy after heavy rain. My dog is a massive 4 lbs and most dogs tend to be large. There are two nice basketball courts close to the dog park. A bathroom and newer play equipment are close to the courts. There is disc golf, but I'm not sure how much of it remains. Overall one of the best...

This is a beautiful park! My kids love it! I enjoy getting up and walking the trail, earlier in the day when it's not as hot! It is clean and not littered with trash! The grass is always cut & none of their equipment is broken. This is the best park that we've been to, since moving down to Greenwood! We will definitely be back!!

*There is a Little Free Library along the path, near the front / by the pool. "Take A Book, Leave A Book" I've checked it out 2x so far. I'm going to go through my kids books, to see what we can donate. I suggest...

A large, well maintained park with walking paths, tennis, pickleball courts, soccer/football fields, dog park, disc golf and more! Open spaces to play frisbee or throw a ball. Restrooms, pavilions and a huge water park right in the middle that is open during the summer. There is plenty of play equipment for kids. One of the best parks I've seen in the area. I highly recommend this park for families.

Plenty of activities to do here. The park has the aquatic park in its center. There are three tennis courts which are in pretty good shape. Two basketball courts on the other side. Nice cycling trail which circles around the park. If you want to run then just there’s trail for you too. There are some slides available for children too. Overall, a nice park to spend your family weekend.
