Major Taylor Velodrome — Attraction in Indianapolis

Nice facility. Arrived for a weekend BMX event. Grounds were clean. Staff wore identifiable shirts. Ambulance was on standby. Motos moved swiftly and felt well rehearsed. Trophy pickup was painful Saturday but more acceptable Sunday. The nearby skate park was a great side attraction between events and for siblings. Apologies to the regulars that had to endure tourists. They did not lash out despite the increase in traffic. Bathrooms were well kept. Snacks were light but sufficient. Track was great. Yesterday was my first time there. Great venue for cyclocross. There are lots of vantage points where you can see a good portion of the race. I would love to come back to watch some track races under the lights. It's pretty muddy so if you're coming out to watch cyclocross and you want to get some great views make sure you're wearing...
