The mill was not knew to but I had never stop. After seeing a recent post on Facebook, I decided to stop and check it out. It was not opened-April and no one was around to ask questions so I read all the signs including the one interpretive sign. The Upper Iowa River and Liftke Lake and park across from the mill are exceptionally well-kept. The dam makes for a beautiful photo will the mill in the background.
