All reviews here are right on the spot. Shipping/Receiving Office lady is not friendly at all, she needs to learn good customer service manners while dock people are very friendly. If you don’t want your day ruined by this office lady, follow everything people have listed on these reviews. That is; DO NOT arrive earlier or later than 15 minutes of your appointment time, make sure you have your appointment number before calling, you will need to call the number posted at a very big sign and well placed sign at the dock area to check in and follow the direction from the lady.
As someone else said earlier in one of the reviews, this lady works harder than smarter. I ready all reviews and prepared myself well to follow her protocols. I arrived earlier and parked at the Casey’s truckstop. I pulled in at the Receiver exactly 15 minutes before my appointment time, I called the shipping/receiving number, the lady answered the phone and I gave her my appointment number to the lady. She told me right away in less than a second, to leave the facility right away and go park at Casey’s truckstop, then call my dispatcher and have them call her to make appointment because she doesn’t have an appointment. As I was driving back to truckstop in less than a mile, my dispatcher called me before I called him and told me to go back, because the lady called her and apologized, she typed in the number wrong, so told him to call me and tell me to go back. Anyways I had to still to truckstop to turn round and go back. I called her, no apology to me whatsoever, she gave directions which I followed and I was out of there in less than an hour after I backed on the dock.
Now, where does “She works harder than smarter comes from”. The guys working at the dock saw me when I pulled in the first time. There was no other truck on the dock and they were waiting me as their first appointment for the day. Then, they were lost when they saw me leaving facility. The first thing they asked me when I pulled in the second time, why did you go back the first time? I told them the story. They didn’t understand why she did all that crap because she knew that they were not busy, no truck to load and unloaded. That means, she would have rather get her protocols she has memorized in her heard followed than do some thing different, get me on the dock so that the dock guys can do their job while me her get the correct delivery appointment number. Keep in mind this is a load that gets delivered weekly and she speaks with my dispatcher daily to schedule delivery. In addition, she personally worked with my dispatcher 2 days ago to schedule this delivery. Definitely she is got...
Read moreCalled and someone answers right away. Confirmed appt time. +1 ⭐️ Not allowed on property any earlier than 15 minutes before appt. -1 ⭐️ Not allowed on property overnight. There’s really no room and there’s a Casey’s close by. If you do try, They will fine you. Or at least threaten to. Double booked so sat here waiting for a door then when in a door waited forever to get loaded. -1 ⭐️ Scale at top of hill. Start at bottom and go up. Nothing done to make it easy. Trucks spinning wheels or going on scale the wrong way because they can’t get up from below. -1 ⭐️ You may get UNLOADED quick but you don’t get LOADED quick. -1 ⭐️ I won’t be back. hours to load 20k. Watched everyone go home, and here I’m still sitting in a dock.😡 No facilities for drivers -1 ⭐️ People were nice though. Regardless of what was...
Read moreHuge waste of time. I was told to arrive at 1 pm and was given a pickup number that "wasn't in the system". I called the broker and didn't get the correct pickup number for almost 45 minutes. By the time I received the correct pickup number it was over an hour past my "appointment" time (even though I was told that the 1 pm appointment was already there when I arrived). Apparently the broker at ARRIVE LOGISTICS handling this account has no clue what they're doing, so just make sure you have the correct info when coming here, otherwise these people 100% WILL...
