I continue to be amazed by the many walking and hiking trails in Irvine. This mixed use trail is shared by walkers, cyclists, and when we were there, a skate boarder. There is a main paved path with spurs covered with decomposed granite. You can follow the trail for miles. You'll find amenities such as benches, drinking fountains for people and dogs, and bathrooms somewhere along the trail.

Bosque Trail is close to our home, and it’s one of our favorite spots for family strolls in the evening. When our kids get curious about a flower, we use an app to look up its name—it turns a simple walk into a fun learning moment. My wife enjoys showing them the caterpillars munching on milkweed. It’s a great way for the kids to connect with nature and learn something new each time we go.

Love running here! There are usually not too many people here in the evenings, so it's a nice place to jog in isolation. I appreciate the hills to add some variation to my runs and also the cool tunnels. We can always use more parks in southern California!

A great little trail tucked within suburbia. Frequent sittings of rabbits, birds and a couple of snakes in the 2 years I’ve been here. Excellent for bike rides and the occasional runs. Not incredibly challenging but well maintained. Will mature beautifully as most the...
