Bosque Trail — Attraction in Irvine

I continue to be amazed by the many walking and hiking trails in Irvine. This mixed use trail is shared by walkers, cyclists, and when we were there, a skate boarder.

There is a main paved path with spurs covered with decomposed granite. You can follow the trail for miles. You'll find amenities such as benches, drinking fountains for people and dogs, and bathrooms somewhere...

Bosque Trail is close to our home, and it’s one of our favorite spots for family strolls in the evening. When our kids get curious about a flower, we use an app to look up its name—it turns a simple walk into a fun learning moment.
