To start off, we come to this court often. Rarely, the staff ever monitor the courts. So the day before I wrote this review, my family waited for a court for around an hour, and when the person playing before us wouldn’t get off, we called the parks staff. This was although the parks had a set of “rules” that said an individual could only play for 30 minutes. The staff we brought over, after a short chat with the person on the court, looked at us and told us that we had to wait another 30 minutes, as he said the “rules” meant that the person on the court’s time remaining would only start after we started waiting. We told the staff that we had waited for around an hour, but he continued to say that we had to have PHOTO EVIDENCE of them on the court at a the time we started waiting. This was all the day before I wrote this review. At the time, I didn’t think much of it, because it’s what to expect of a park like Las Lomas that has staff that are payed off of OUR tax money, of course. I wrote this review today, because, again we were treated unjustly by the staff. We had waited for the courts, again, today, and 20 minutes after we got on the court, we saw that my sons friend from school had come, and they took the other court that had at the moment, just opened. We had a quick chat with their family, when his mom had told us that she was going to take a walk, as sadly, she didn’t know how to play tennis. She told us to look over him for a while, until she came back. Shortly after, a family of 5 had come, and ten minutes later (reminder that we had been on the court for about 30 minutes, and our friends 10 minutes) they told their youngest child to open the door, and he said (these are his exact words) “we’ve waited for over an hour, give us the courts.” At the moment, we were surprised, so we told him that they had probably waited 15 minutes. He stood there, and looked at us, like we bullied him. He then said, pretty loudly, that they should call the police. We didn’t think much of it, so we continued playing, until they brought the staff over (Here, we’ve played for 45 minutes, 25 minutes for our friends) and the staff walked in, and told us to get off the courts. We told him maybe 15 more minutes, as we pretty much always follow the rules, until he noticed an individual (our friend) playing on the other court, my friends son, by himself. The staff continued to barge into his court, and told him to leave with us, saying that we were together, as he saw us together (probably when we were talking). When we tried to confront him for taking advantage of a 2 children by themselves, he told us that the family had waited for over an hour. I was shocked. After talking with him, we decided that we would play with the remainder of the time left, and as we got off the court, like we promised, he told my sons friend to get off with us too. At this moment, his mom came, and was also very surprised that something like this would happen, as she was also a regular here. We told him that he should let our friends play for longer, as they hadn’t been there for an hour yet, which was the time frame for singles and doubles. He continued to threaten us with the message of us harassing a little kid, while also saying that he could call the police if he wanted. The staff here are really crazy,...
