We visited Luna Park on its grand opening (7/26/25) around 10:10 AM. It’s the biggest park in the Great Park Neighborhoods, with basketball courts, pickleball courts, a large playground, and swimming pools (not open yet). The park itself is great for families.

But parking is a real problem. The park is completely surrounded by houses—Gadwall, Loon, Merit, Longspur, and Junco—so there’s no room for proper parking lots nearby. The only small lot is at 330 Loon, and it fills up fast. Visitors end up parking on the streets, which causes overflow and makes the roads narrow and crowded.

The layout and planning make it hard to fix this issue, so unfortunately, street parking will likely remain the only option. The poor parking design keeps it from...

Grand opening JULY 26. Luna park opening soon. Lots of pathways. Kids activities. Private park for Great park residents. Bbq stations. Swimming lap pool, lagoon pool, jacuzzi, baseball field, basketball courts, 4 picket ball courts, jungle park, lots of trees. No ebikes allowed. Security guard and cameras 24/7 Plenty of parking....

Luna Park is very big, the playground has multiple sections which is amazing & nice for different age groups of kids. Only 2 restrooms near the pool. Wish there were closer ones to the playground area. Very dog friendly & has nice tables and grills...
