If you're searching for a hidden gem in Puerto Rico, look no further than Guajataca Beach in Isabela. This beach is absolutely pristine — untouched, peaceful, and breathtakingly beautiful. The Guajataca River flows into this beach, but it doesn't seem to provide mud, dark or black colors to the shore. There's no pollution in the sea, nor any dirt coloring just a magical blue color. There's only a kind of swamp on the right hand side at the beginning of the road, but it doesn't pollute the sea and despite the rough sea, the water is a perfect sky blue, unmatched cleanliness. The sea is totally very clean, with a light blue close to the shore, then transitioning into a more intense blue the further you look, ending in a unique breathtaking beautiful view. WARNING: If you're not an expert swimmer, this area could not be suitable for bathers however it is loved by surfers as the waves could be sometime a little rough and strong. The crystal-clear water, dramatic cliffs, and soft sand make it feel like a private paradise. It’s not crowded at all, which makes it perfect for relaxing, meditating, or just soaking in the natural beauty. The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks is incredibly soothing. Bring your camera — the views are unreal. This is nature at its finest. A true must-visit for anyone exploring the west coast of Puerto Rico!

Spectacular! Must visit. Some high waves, but kid-friendly and the beach is kept clean. When we visited there were no open restrooms (or portables), so be ready for that before arriving. Some local snacks and refreshments, you want to bring your food. Weekdays to avoid the crowds, but weekends if you want the vibrant atmosphere. Parking can be challenging during busy traffic, I recommend carpooling if traveling in groups. The trolley is fun and they have special times, you don’t want to miss it!

Beautiful beach, there's ample parking space. It's not the greatest beach, but it's right besides the Guajataca Tunnel, so if you're already going there, it's definetly worth a visit. Nice for sunbathing and having a nice time, but if you want to swim, there are better options close by.
