Huge multi section dog park, 3 areas in total. One has tall grass for your dog to hunt and explore, while the other sections are heavily mulched with large pieces of bark. There is a pergola for shade, double gate entry, water and poo bags and waste containers. The largest section that is mulched with the pergola does not have water, rather the other area below that has the tall grass. There is also another section for small dogs. There is no shade, except for the pergola but when the sun sets it's not much relief. There are no trees in the dog park. The people were friendly as were the dogs.

We brought our dogs out for the first time today and they loved it. The running/play area is very big, fully enclosed and feed rinking water is provided. The park is set by a lake and along a walking trail. It could be better maintained, there are large rocks and the grass is high so they aren't visible until you or your pet is tripping on them. Be aware of large holes as well, it appears they are dug by anxious pups and found throughout the park. There is a separate area for small dogs which is fully maintained but smaller. Over all a great place to exercise and socialize your dog!

The pictures are standing up near the top of the park, looking down at the bottom which is next to a jogging trail/lake, but the enclosed park stops before the trail. Well maintained and my dog loves to run in the tall grass up and down the hill. Downside is it is not well marked, there are no signs letting you know there is a small dog park area next door so everyone tends to bring all the dogs into one area- small dog park doesn't have a water station and the big one has one but near the second entrance at the bottom of the hill-not awesome for people with walking difficulties.

Massively disappointed. 4 stars for the park, 0 stars for the dogs and owners that were there today. The park itself is well maintained with 3 sections. One section is for small dogs that has some agility equipment and was empty. 2 other sections were labeled for large dogs. One large dog section has wood chips and a small shelter, and the other side is a steep sloped grassy area. The large dog sections have a fence and gate between them, but I couldn’t get to the gate in time to keep the sections separated- 4 small dogs from the wood chip side kept pestering my dog who was clearly trying to ignore them. They were barking and nipping at him and the owners weren’t paying any attention to the situation. All but one dog finally went back to the woodchip side and that owner finally came over and asked me if her dog was being too aggressive and I said she was, all my dog wants to do is play fetch. Her dog is a herding dog so I get the chasing, barking, and nipping, but I was expecting her to immediately round up her dog. She eventually picked up her dog and went back to the other side. We continued with fetch, but then 2 of the other dogs that were chasing him started creeping into the grassy area again and I didn’t want to continue stressing out my dog so we left after about 15 minutes. The water fountain wasn’t working in the grassy area, and I’m not sure about the water situation on the woodchip side since I was trying to stay away from the other dogs. I’ve never encountered anything like this at any other dog park...

Wanted to check this out because I was told it is a good place for wet weather. There is parking on the road and in the adjacent Grand View park. Situated under the power lines, the entire dog park is fenced and is large. There are two sections for large dogs that are mostly separated by a fence, though there is an opening between the two sections at one end. The upper portion is fairly level with a gentle slope. This is all wood chips and indeed would be great during wet weather. The lower portion is grass and dirt and is steeply sloped towards the rentention pond. The lower section fence prevents access to the pond itself. Wear sturdy shoes in the event you need to venture into this area. I believe there may be a small dog section, but did not validate. I gave 4 stars because the road to the park is narrow. Cars parked on the road either had their mirrors folded in or broken off. It is difficult for two wide vehicles to navigate in opposite directions without yielding. Most crosswalks and intersections narrow to one lane. The design generally slows traffic, but is dangerous when other drivers are speeding down the center of the road, are unwilling to yield, or do not have good spatial awareness of their vehicle. Great park, but access seems primarily intended for those that live in the...

This park is just OK. It's relatively small and half of it isn't open in the fall/winter because of muddy conditions. If more than 4 dogs show up its too crowded and a lot of dogs that need space get territorial and feel trapped.

If you're going to come here, come early in the morning or later in the evening when most owners leave.

A lot of the owners that frequent here don't train their animals, and they don't understand dog etiquette or dog behaviors. They don't take their dogs out, the dogs have pent up energy, it comes out as aggression the moment they let the dog off leash (and a dog without a proper recall and training should never be allowed off a leash or at an off leash dog park. Period.)

My dog has been attacked here SIX different times completely unprovoked. I had two instances in the same day, and I no longer...
