My kids and I have been going to this park since they were babies, and always loved it. But then we got a puppy last year- a golden retriever who really, REALLY likes her zoomies. This park was not good for that. She could run right out into the busy road if I had left her off leash. So, for kids under 9yrs old, great park. For dogs, no.
Actually, a few years back, the city of Issaquah had a rotating dog park setup, and this park was included. It has two giant grass fields, so adopting one side to enclosing for just dogs was a great idea- I wish they'd have kept it that way. Especially bc 95% of the time we've gone there, no one's even using the grass.

I left my car on parking lot in this park last weekend for a couple hours, when I came back to my car I found broken door handle, broken lock mechanism and severe scratches on my car doors. I parked my car behind the threes, that...

The 3 level main structure is tons of fun for my 2 year old. The fields are just large open grass fields with minimal fencing and so are well suited for dogs with good recall and on-leash play and of course kids! There are 2 permanent toilets here too that are always moderately to very clean.
I’m happy we have this lovely little park in...
