Scioto Grove Metro Park Firetower — Attraction in Jackson Township

Nice park I'll have to check out in the future. I attempted to set up a picnic to watch the first sunset of the new year, but the tower was locked. It would have been nice to have a sign at the bottom of the stairs to say it was locked instead of climbing to find out. Hopefully it is just a winter seasonal thing that the tower is locked, because I would love to do my plan in the future. As someone else said in a different comment, the expectation is to have the tower accessible when the park is open and that is unfortunately...

I love this park! Always very minimal people when we visit. I love the trails, it's always so calm and relaxing here. I am able to walk around in the nature and ground myself. I truly enjoy this place. Beautiful scenery, big areas, multiple parking locations, a playground for kids and different trails to explore. I did attempt to walk the tower stairs and I personally didn't make it past the first flight of steps but fun for others who are willing....

Сам будиночок зверху зачинений, але ви можете поборотися зі своїм страхом і насолодитися краєвидом згори. Також трохи далі є локація для стрільби із лука і поле для диск-гольфу. Сюди можна приїхати і просто на пікнік. Тут є чудове місце в тіні дерев для барбекю. Є невелика крита зона з вбудованими столиками та стільцями. Поряд дитячий майданчик з купою лазялок для дітей і чисті доглянуті туалети з клумбами гарних квітів навколо. Якщо хочете помріяти і побути на одинці, можете прогулятися стежкою до річки або порибалити. Є також і велодоріжки, шелтер для відзначення святкових подій, гірка для катання на санчатах взимку, а також ще багато цікавого, що я за один раз дослідити не встигла, тому передаю цю естафету вам.
