Tomahawk Park is a pleasant little spot in the San Jose neighborhood with a playground, walking trails, a field, a picnic area, and bathrooms. The playground is great for smaller kids and toddlers with swingsets, slides, and a structure to climb on. The walking trails are a welcome journey into nature tucked right into the suburbs. There's a flat, empty field which is great for throwing a ball around or just for kids to run around. The covered picnic area has tables, benches, and a grill. The bathrooms are... well, there if you really need them. Best to have some hand sanitizer available because there might not be soap.

Read moreI really enjoy this park. Located near the tail end of Goodby’s Creek there are well maintained trails that showcase the natural beauty of the area. It’s a fun easy hike with kids or dogs. The playground is simple and gives the kids something to do before or after the walk. Bathrooms, water fountains and a pavilion are available plus a large field for sports.
