What a tremendously underwhelming experience! We waited in line for more than an hour to get on the wagon only to get in line with the rest of the vehicles! You would be better off driving your own vehicle. While we waited in line, a group with a 7pm reservation arrived 20 minutes early which contributed to our massive ride delay. They inserted this group 20 minutes before thier scheduled time when having them wait for the time They reserved and the next wagon would have had them closer to the time they asked for, yet still early!!! Huge gaps of nothing and almost complete darkness on the trail were disappointing to give the kindest of explanations. The vehicle traffic and foot traffic patterns were scary and entirely unsafe. I witnessed several patrons almost hit by vehicles trying to navigate mutiple ridiculous turns. Disorganized employees greatly enhanced displeasure by creating and subsequently fostering several difficult vehicle traffic patterns without providing information or guidance to guests. Overall would not pay to see this sad display of Christmas spirit. Pay for Mike's Farm and enjoy your hard...
Read moreWe have been driving through the lights at ELJ farms for a few years now with no issue. Last night was a different story. When we got to the animals, my Dad stopped to let the kids in the car get a better view since it was very dark. Mind you, the place was pretty empty, he was stopped for maybe a minute, and no cars were in sight. A Kubota vigilante came out of the blue literally yelled at my Dad that he can't stop. Rude, especially paying $30 for some overpriced lights. The past few years when it was super crowded, everyone would stop for the animals, funny singing trees, and light tunnel. The light tunnel is so short how else can you enjoy it? The singing trees are a highlight, but if you can't stop you can only catch them singing maybe two words. Also, there was no snow. Thanks Kubota grinch for ruining our $30 experience....my parent's first and...
Read moreWe have been visiting ELJ Farms for a few years now, and have loved it. This year we have an infant. We arrived Thanksgiving evening and asked prior to paying if we would be able to drive through the lights and then park to go to the food trucks and see Santa. The young man told us yes. We drove through and got to the end, where two more young men were at the exit. My husband asked where we could park so we could go in. He then informed us that we wouldn’t have access, because we drove through. Not every one wants to ride on the tractor through, and we didn’t want to take our baby’s car seat on it. Clear communication on this would be preferred. We left a little disappointed. If we were to go back we were told we would have to pay again to renter after we paid to drive through. Not the most...
