I’ve run here with my school cross-country team dozens of times and it is always one of the fun places to run. The times it is not fun is when we did the Monster which is a large hill you find when going toward the electrical substation. The Monster lives up to its name being a long steep hill which forces many runners into exhaustion. The greenway and trails are great and very well maintained along with a great playground, basketball court, picnic areas, and baseball arena. There are a few bathrooms which are usually clean although there is no hot water and there are no doors for the stalls which can lead to some awkward situations. After it is all said and done, I would recommend the park especially since it is part of the interconnected greenway giving you a one-way...
Read moreNice park area. My grandkids liked playing the playground equipment. Just wished they had more for them to play on. There plenty of places to sit and a few covered shelter area with picnic tables. Theres several grills for cooking and a place to play volleyball and basketball. I'll definitely go back so I can explore the walking trails and more of the park. You can even play golf here and it looks like a nice course to play on. They also have restrooms available for you to use and you can rent the shelter areas for your parties...
Read moreThis park has several shelters, restrooms, athletic fields, ample parking, and a small typical playground. I use the parking lot as an access to the Bicentennial Greenway and Deep River Trail as they are directly off East Fork Road. There are doggie poo bag stations and trash cans sporadically throughout.
Of course it has the Jamestown Park Golf Course and it's accompanying clubhouse...
