Jefferson City Memorial Park — Attraction in Jefferson City

We had a birthday party for our 11 year old here. They have several little pavilions with personal grills to use which was awesome because you don't have to pay to rent them out. Bathrooms are handicap accessible with working water fountains, they have walking paths that stay in the park or leading out into the community. The playground equipment is all fairly new and trash cans are all over so it's pretty convenient to keep the place clean as long as everyone does their part. There are plenty of trees for shade if you want to sit without the sun beating you down and it's is spread out so if you want a little personal space away from Everyone else you can have that as well. Relaxing, close to being in a peaceful forest full of trees, and gods path has been laid out for you. Music and the laughter of teens and children fill the air from the public pool and the playground within the park. Trees give a harmonious clapping of leaves and relaxation as the wind blows through them. People exercise in pairs or with their dogs looking stressed free and relaxed, this is where I find peace. Restrooms are clean and easily accessible, with a large shelter full of picnic tables and picnic tables throughout the park and paths. My toddler and I love this park! It has two different play areas! The first one is near the front with a play set for 2-12 year olds and another for 2-5 year olds. The one at the back of the park is a tot play area. There is also a paved trail that has a dog water station, benches, and these fun signs with ideas to play and learn with the kiddos. There are also lots of picnic tables with shade and grills as well as a large pavilion you can reserve with electricity and fans.
