This place is pretty nice! I feel like if you go here during the weekday, it would be a better experience due to less amount of people being there, so the wait time would be shortened. It’s definitely more of a family oriented activity, as the hills aren’t so crazy and tall.

Be careful on the conveyer carpet thing while going up the hill, it’s super bumpy! And if you fall, they won’t always stop it. One of the people I was with kept falling and the guy wouldn’t stop it, so some of us had to step off to the side and the guy working kept yelling at us to get back on. I told him I can’t because last time I tried getting back on I nearly fell over. Whoever that worker was, was super rude because I kept saying I’m gonna fall if I get back on repeatedly, and he just kept yelling at me to get back on then he muttered under his breath and finally stopped the carpet so I could get back on. Once I got all the way to the top I apologized to him explaining what happened last time, cuz those things are hard to get back on, and he just completely ignored me.

Other than that one worker, it was a pretty fun time. We had to wait 30 minute intervals however, since there were so many people there!

The pricing for the food, drinks, and snacks are super...

We were BEYOND disappointed and upset with our visit, and we were not the only ones. We arrived early for our 5-7 time slot. First one of the day. We waited 30min just for them to finish setting up and then to fix the track that takes you up. They were letting maybe 2-3ppl come down at a time to start with a MASSIVE line of people. Then they opened the second side and told people who just got in line to go over to it instead of the people who had been waiting for 40min at that point. It took us a full hour to get to the top. That was half of our scheduled time. They offered no time extension or partial refund. They were grossly unprepared. They eventually opened up both sides with more lanes, but it was far too late. We paid WAY too much money for 3 turns! We traveled to this specific location and will never do that again. I don't leave many reviews, and when I do, they are good ones. This is my first negative review and that says something!- I found out there was another slope an hour to the east of Columbus. I would recommend trying that one first. That was told to us by the locals in line who were...

We had an absolutely wonderful time here! The staff was super nice and informative! And, because it wasn't super busy, everyone was told that we would be allowed to continue tubing past the 3 hr window we had purchased.

The conveyor belt that takes you to the top of the hill took some getting used to, but we all had it down after a few trips. The tubing was incredibly fast and I caught air every time. We were there in the evening though and an employee told me that the ride down is slower earlier in the day when the snow is fresh. We enjoyed the fast pace though! 😄

They had a nice fire going outside for a quick warmup. They also had a dining hall with a wide variety of hot snacks and drinks, and plenty of room to sit and thaw out for a bit. There were bathrooms too, but we never visited them.

We'll definitely be back!

Edit- We arrived at 5pm on New Year's Eve. The crowds weren't bad at all. We never had to wait in line for the conveyor and the lines up top were usually only 3 - 4 people...

We visited Feb 29, 2020 and it was an absolutely horrible experience. We paid $100 for 4 of us to go down the hill twice. The lines were so ridiculously long. They only allowed people to go down the hill about once every 3 minutes. With 15 people in each line, that means you're standing around waiting to go for 45 minutes between rides. That's absurd for a 4 second ride. Oh and don't forget that about once an hour they shut down for 20 minutes while they drag the gravel at the bottom of the hill. The people who paid to be there were miserable (and fighting with each other over the stress), the poor employees were miserable, and the whole experience was miserable. If it were possible to give 0 stars, I would. Apparently this place used to be great, but under different management it has been completely ruined.

Had a lot of fun here with the family. Customer Service at Mad River assisted us in changing our time to an earlier time so we could avoid the late blizzard that came in later. Only negative is that they only had one carpet lift running for most of our 2 hour window which created 20+ minute wait times between rides, due to the safety measure that are needed for spacing, etc... in the end we would definitely come back, esp. Since the staff on the tubing hill was very friendly.

We had blast at the park yesterday and we are looking forward to going back. Just a little tip.... bring a small towel to wipe down the inside of the tube that might be a little wet from the snow. There is a heated building on site where strollers can go inside. There are heated bathrooms and a place to rest with tables and chairs. They also have vending machines and a place to purchase food.
