Went here to catch the sunset at the viewing platform. Upon arrival it was very noticeable that almost everyone here spoke Spanish and hardly anyone spoke English. Some people were working on the grass for convenience when there was still enough parking to park in designated spots. As the sun was setting, the mosquitoes started coming out. On the wildlife viewing platform, which is good for sunset, two people were smoking on it, so I didn't hang out on the platform long. Some fishermen were casting nets in the water with the sunset behind them making for some cool photos. A little walk to the south were driftwood trees on the beach which was also awesome to photograph with the lessening light of the evening . Lots of people were grilling after sunset.    Read moreThis is a great beach for EXPLORING. we found a dead baby shark and a whole adult stingray still in good shape for exploring. (Homeschool) we found a wide variety of life, saw a pod of dolphins close in to shore and netted many types of live sea life to identify (and release). On out way out we saw a sign saying high levels of bacteria in water. We missed that sign coming in through the trail. Anyway great beach to walk around and see some driftwood...
