The easiest way to explain how to get to Pigeon Falls Is to go to the center of town in Marienville turn on to E. Spruce Street and drive for 7 1/2 miles... Once you turn onto spruce street about one mile in it will turn into a dirt road. By time you get to the area to park for Pigeon Falls It will narrow down to one lane... At the end of the 7 1/2 mile drive, you will cross a narrow little bridge after the bridge.You can park on either side of the road... Pigeon Falls is on the trail to the left. About one mile hike ... Read moreIt was a long drive on an unpaved road - around 8 or 9 miles! Don't attempt it without AWD or 4WD because some places were deeply rutted. The hike to the falls is one mile and sneakers are not appropriate footwear unless you don't care about getting muddy. But it was worth it. It was ALL so worth it. But road going in is extremely rough and full of potholes. The last bridge and right after is especially bad. I took a car back so it is possible, but I wouldn't recommend it.
