Kelly Hotel — Restaurant in Jenks Township

Update and upgrade. There's not a lot of places to eat in this town I wanted to give this one a second try. Got a mushroom burger a salad and cheesecake it was all great. I sat on the restaurant side instead of the bar side this time and the waitress Sarah was attentive and helpful. Upgrading from two stars to four.

I had high hopes for this place but it was not good I went in the restaurant side first and it was dark and dingy with a few locals I sat down and the two waitresses that kept popping out of the kitchen never once paid any attention so I got up and I went to the bar instead The bar on the other side was just about as dingy but the bartender Jen was pretty awesome. Too bad the people in the kitchen weren't the same way I had a pretzel plate and I think I broke a tooth on a pretzel and I know for certain I bent my fork trying to cut the other one. I ordered a steak salad because I was trying to quickly get out of there and it was so piled with fries you couldn't see lettuce once I removed some of the fries so I could get to the salad I discovered there really wasn't any there to begin with it's basically a couple pieces of lettuce topped with half a pound of fries If you want fries get fries If you want salad I'd probably choose...

My wife and I visited the Shamrock Room this evening for dinner, on this late winter Saturday night. James was our waiter. He was very polite and mindful to care for us for the entirety of our visit.

We ordered an appetizer of Deep Fried Mushrooms and soft drinks. While waiting for our appetizer, I reflected upon a few memories that I had of the restaurant, and observed what may have changed or remained the same in the room. (My family has a Camp just outside of town and has visited the Camp for 3 to 4 seasons per year for decades). The atmosphere was comfortable, with music playing over the speakers. The Fried Mushrooms seemed fresh and cooked to our liking. The Ranch dipping sauce was thick and creamy - delicious!

James brought us our main courses in a very reasonable timeframe. My Trophy Burger was excellent, very juicy and cooked "medium" as requested. I would definitely order this burger again. My wife ate a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, and added lettuce, tomato, and onion, while the buffalo sauce was served on the side. She said hers was also very good. We both chose Fresh Cut Fries as our side, which were not mushy and great with Hines and a little salt.

For the food, 4 stars easy, decent price for decent food, service wise I would give this a 0. Out server was not cut out for a public job, especially server. My friend was with us and he asked her very politely if he can switch his Pepsi to a coffee and she didn’t even look at him or respond , about two minutes go by and she comes by and slams the coffee down and didn’t say a word, he then later asked her if they had bloody Marrys she didn’t even look at him again and said NO! Idk if she was racist or just a miserable person but I hope she gets some help from Jesus because...
