Santa Lucea Beach — Attraction in Jensen Beach

Beautiful beach! I was there later in the day so it wasn't crowded at all. I was hoping to find some shells, but didn't walk away with much. It was quite windy, but I was expecting that and didn't mind. I would recommend wearing water shoes if you plan to walk on/near the rocks. Maybe I'm just clumsy but I found myself tripping on buried rock. I had on water shoes but if I hadn't had them on, I'd have some stubbed toes! No restrooms here, but plenty of parking and an area to rinse off your feet. I'd come back to this beach again for...

This beach is gorgeous. I visited a handful of beaches on Hutchinson Island from Herman's Bay to Bathtub Reef and this one was my favorite due to the soft sand, clean beach and stunning clear turquoise water that gently slopes from the shore. We visited on a Saturday afternoon in July and there were several families and groups of friends but it didn't feel crowded at all. Just 2 hours heading north from Miami through the I95, it's absolutely worth the trip. Clean, quiet, not crowded even in the middle of summer season.
