If you're in the mood for a culinary experience that combines the heartiness of a classic Philly cheesesteak with the warmth of Southern hospitality, look no further than Philly Down South. This gem of a restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience that will leave you craving more.
From the moment you step into their outdoor tiki bar, you're greeted with a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The open-air setting, complete with tiki torches and tropical décor, creates a unique ambiance that's both charming and comfortable.
The star of the show, of course, is the food. The Philly cheesesteaks here are nothing short of phenomenal. Each bite is a symphony of flavors – tender, juicy steak, perfectly melted cheese, and a roll that strikes the perfect balance between soft and chewy. Whether you prefer the classic with onions and peppers or one of their creative variations, you won't be disappointed.
But what truly sets Philly Down South apart is the exceptional service. Our evening was made even more memorable by our incredible bartender, Alexies. From the moment we sat down at the bar, she was attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about her craft. Her drink recommendations were spot-on, and she went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience. Alexis' warm personality and impeccable service truly made for an amazing night.
Philly Down South is more than just a restaurant – it's an experience. Whether you're a Philly cheesesteak aficionado or just looking for a great place to unwind with friends, this place has something for everyone. Read moreI was down in Jupiter, FL this past weekend visiting family and discovered this place. I was skeptical at first as I've had many so-called Philly Cheesesteaks out side of Philadelphia. They have all fallen way short of anything that remotely resembled a cheesesteak. Anyone from the Philadelphia area knows what I'm talking about. Even the roll tasted like the signature cheesesteak roll that you find at any cheesesteak place. I cant wait to go back and try the cheese steak with lump lobster meet. Philly Down South is about as genuine as you can get when it comes to getting what a Philly cheesesteak tastes like outside of the Philadelphia area. ...

Our waitress served us one drink after we flagged her down but never came back to check on us again while she was constantly checking on her other tables. Music is okay. One night a week is like karaoke. Lips were moving but the sound wasn’t coming from her. I live very close but I guess if you’re not an insider, you sit in the sidelines. And I have been there several time because it is close. This is not a one time impression. The last time with all the reserved tables was my last time...
