I was down in Jupiter, FL this past weekend visiting family and discovered this place. I was skeptical at first as I've had many so-called Philly Cheesesteaks out side of Philadelphia. They have all fallen way short of anything that remotely resembled a cheesesteak. Anyone from the Philadelphia area knows what I'm talking about. So I ordered a cheesesteak with fried onions and mushrooms as that is my standard go-to at home. When I took that first bite, it felt like I was back in Philly. They nailed it!! Even the roll tasted like the signature cheesesteak roll that you find at any cheesesteak place. I cant wait to go back and try the cheese steak with lump lobster meet. Food is okay. Their famous chips have been hard or soggy or stale every time I’ve ordered them. We went in there at 3:00 pm on a Saturday afternoon and the place was empty but all the tables were reserved. Not a welcoming feeling: The waitstaff is hit and miss. Our waitress served us one drink after we flagged her down but never came back to check on us again while she was constantly checking on her other tables. Music is okay. One night a week is like karaoke. Lips were moving but the sound wasn’t coming from her. I live very close but I guess if you’re not an insider, you sit in the sidelines.
