DOG PARK IS NOT FREE - MEMBERS ONLY - DON'T BOTHER IF NOT LOCAL
Overall the park was lovely. I initially arrived for my pooch to have some fellow pooch time as I was visiting from out of town and did a Google search for a local dog park. I/we were very saddened to see the dog park was by membership only. I get it but that should have come up with the search. I drove to the other side with Copper and we then went on a walk about around the grounds. When in Rome right! I prefer unleased areas as he is well trained and highly responsible. We wandered for a spell leashed till we found the trail area towards the back corner of the park. Since all the regular people were elsewhere my dear boy was free to frolic with the critters. This back unpaved area is very nice and takes you away from others. The rest of the park has outstanding grounds as well. Two parking areas, upper & lower. Pond, paved paths, playground (complete w/everything), facilities, basketball court, volleyball court, plenty of grass for any activity. I don't recommend going here for the dog park unless your a local and want to pay. Other then that...
Read moreI have to admit that going to Willow Springs Park is a very relaxing experience. I truly enjoy the scenic views as well as the picnic tables enclosed. My daughter and I will come here esoft it as the weather permits to view all of God's Beauty and be thankful for all of his mercies and blessings that are with us. I am so glad that a place like this park is fairly close to my home so that I can easily travel and take my daughter and we can spend more time enjoying the area then in transit. This will be a Hallmark event at every free occasion that we have. Very clean well-kept Park. Staff are very friendly if they see you they greet you and ask if you need anything. The dog park is a bonus very cool will be bringing my to rescue animals...

During my walk I had three different dogs (no leashes) coming running at my two dogs (one who is 5 and doesn't do well with new dogs and a 4m puppy who is very skittish) when their owners let them out of the dog park. I think there should be at least one camera at the dog park entrance (if there isn't one already) to monitor who isn't keeping their dogs on leashes outside...
