Arrowhead Lake — Attraction in Johnston City

I love this little gem! Camping available, very clean and inexpensive laundry. Bathroom next to laundry is particularly clean. Little office has library and indoor tables and chairs to dine or just have some coffee. Wonderful porch with rocking chairs. The trail (roughly 3 miles around the lake,) is beautiful through the trees. On a sunny day you will often see many turtles sunning themselves on various logs. One day we saw at least 50 or more. Terrible set up for rent camping. Lots of screaming kids using the field until 10 at night to play games. Not a shred of peace and quiet to be had. Even my children complained about the excessive noise all night. Paid for 2 nights stayed for one. Worst camping...
