This was our first visit to this winery. We arrived just after they opened at 11 AM, so there were only a few customers there. We did the full tasting of 7 wines and was very pleased. The girl serving us was very knowledgeable and had worked at other wineries in the area. Surprisingly, the wines were very good for a winery that had just opened. From my experience, many wineries take a few years to get their wines the way they want them. The Bacchus was my favorite, and my wife liked the Tannat the best. The owners were very nice and likeable people. We had a great conversation with them and look forward to going back and taking friends with us. The prices were reasonable, and in my opinion, the wine was better than some of the other wineries close by. Even though it is a large building, it has the smaller winery atmosphere...

Visited Castello Barone today and wow- what a treasure this place is.

Nestled across the road from two of the Yadkin’s finest vineyards, this place fits right in.

The property is nearing completion from construction and will be beautiful when finished. Tasting room is huge with awesome tasting bar, double-sided fireplace and great 360 degree views.

The owners were a joy to meet and visit with and are actively stocking and supporting other local /made in nc businesses with products like cheese, crackers and salami.

The wines were all delicious, including a semi-dry we expected to not like- which we did! But the heroes were the reds- Tannat and a really nice blend named after the vineyard...

After being unceremoniously turned away from Raffaldini this past Saturday, we found ourselves here - and it turned out to be a stroke of luck. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome, and the space itself was very inviting. You know the vibes are good when there is a resident pup meandering around the property. And they didn't mind our well-behaved children tagging along to enjoy the scenery.

Between the four of us, we sampled nearly every wine on offer and enjoyed them all - especially the sparkling rose, which was outstanding. I'm already looking forward to a return when the weather...

Those darn P3 Guys. Come to find out Scott the owner of the Vineyard was a former P3 guy so true to his training he did not have a hard time picking out the submarine guy. Now granted I was the only guy in the room so he had that going for him. 😂 Scott and his wife Elizabeth have an amazing vineyard going on here in North Carolina. They are members of harvest host so please look them up and come by say hi and drink some of their award-winning wine. Now here’s a hint if I was to come back, I would’ve gotten here much earlier because there are two other wineries within walking distance.
