The vineyards and view were beautiful but that’s where the good part of it ends. We got two flights which included a tasting of each one of their 8 wines. I’m sorry, but none of the wines had any flavor. In my opinion one had a taste similar to the smell of rubbing alcohol. We were invited to go up to the pavilion to enjoy our wine and lunch. There were about 20 other people there and a huge gust of wind with rain rolled in. In an effort to conceal ourselves and remain under cover, we extended the plastic covers that were attached to the pavilion to protect ourselves. Everyone there was happy to remain there, dry and protected from the wind. An individual who appeared to be the owner or of some influence within the company, came over and scolded the entire group for shielding themselves from the harsh weather and bundled up the plastic exposing the customers to the weather. Fortunately, the rain had subsided by this time. There are two things that will break a company: One: Quality of product. Two: Customer service. Unfortunately, this winery gets a zero on both of these benchmarks. In my opinion, don’t waste your time here. There are too many other good wineries with delicious wines and pleasant customer service that makes you happy...

Beautiful views but the customer service was pretty lousy. We had a group of 5 friends in for wine tasting. The employee skipped a couple of us on the last wine. And when we questioned it, he refused to give the tasting and said "I've been drinking water all day and I know what I've poured" Several of us noticed that he missed them and refused to give the last tasting to 2 in our party. Really bad customer service, wont be back! Update After posting this review I received and email from someone at this winery. He was very concerned about the way we were treated and the customer service we received. He told me he spoke with all of the staff to ensure this doesn't happen again. They offered a complimentary wine tasting and bottle of wine to the 2 people that had been skipped on their tastings. We are not able to get back up to the winery to do another tasting any time soon, so they sent 2 bottles, one for each of the people that got shorted on their tastings. I would definitely go back to this winery if the opportunity arises. The bottle I purchased from them was even better than I remember when we did drink it this past week. They obviously care about how their customers are treated and was very pleased to ...

Everyone complaining about the middle aged lady with brown hair are definitely correct 😂. She’s absolutely the definition of a Karen with a god complex. Very rude woman and crossed the line several times at a wedding we attended. My gf got a wine, and she rudely came over and snatched it out of her hand saying she can’t drink because she didn’t show ID. It’s a wedding…and she was clearly over 21 and a foreigner. The next day she was drinking a tea out of a glass, and they lady came over all rude and controlling and said she wasn’t allowed to drink, my gf politely replied that she wasn’t drinking, because obviously she wasn’t. The lady snatched the Tea out of her hands and Sniffed it. Completely obnoxious and out of line. And you would think someone working at a vineyard can tell the difference between wine and tea based on the color 😂. It was fun watching her make a fool of herself though and we got a good laugh out of it. To cap it off, there was a 15 year old old there that never got ID’d and repeatedly got wine. Meanwhile when I went up alone and asked for two wines, I’m 30 and they asked me for ID and for an ID for the second wine. No one else there had this issue that...

Gorgeous views, decent wine, ok entertainment. We visited on a busy Saturday in early September, and were very impressed by how beautiful the winery looks. The wines themselves are okay - a little above average for NC wine. There was a young lady singing and playing guitar as the entertainment - she had a big beautiful voice, but she'd perform one song and then play a song on her phone through the P.A. system. Then she'd perform another, then play one ... that was weird! If I want to hear recorded music I can listen to my own Spotify playlist. Overall it was a good experience, and worth the trek out from Winston.

I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Piccione Vineyards this past weekend, and it was truly magical. The vineyard is nestled in the hills with absolutely breathtaking views in every direction—rows of vines, golden hour light, and the most peaceful, romantic setting you could ask for. Every corner of the property is picture-perfect, and it made capturing beautiful moments effortless. The staff was kind and accommodating, and the entire day felt relaxed and full of charm. It’s the kind of venue that leaves a lasting impression, and I can’t wait to be back!

What a wonderful vineyard. We tried several wines of which the 14 different kinds of grapes 🍇 were all grown directly on the property. I was also able to meet the family that owns the vineyard, winemaker, and vineyard manager who were all just delightful. I was able to get a sneak peek at their new facility which was just magical and will be amazing if you are coming for a glass of wine with a friend, specialty tasting, or a spectacular wedding. This would totally be a magical destination. Highly recommend!
