It is a nice space, voices project very well, as does the photographer's camera sporadically clattering away through over half of a recent performance I attended, who was positioned right at the very back of the theater (so as to ensure optimum noise projection), who was seemingly given license to do so from staff, based on the brief conversation they had DURING THE PERFORMANCE?!?! This continued, right up until I had to get up, and go ask if the distraction should be expected through the remainder of the performance...

The odds of being cast are slim in what’s essentially a pre-cast system, unless you’re part of a director's family or married into it. If you do get a role, it’ll likely be a minor one. Still doubt it? Just look at the past cast lists. This nonprofit raises ethical concerns, and the building itself is an accident lawsuit waiting to happen. Especially after learning that it was the first play for the man who played the character Hoke. He did so good. The play was enjoyable, the theatre was clean and the seats were comfortable.
